Senior Clinical Lecturer/ Consultant in Infectious Diseases, University of Liverpool
Alexander Stockdale is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Liverpool University and an Infectious Diseases physician with an interest in HIV and viral hepatitis. He trained in Edinburgh, Cambridge, and Liverpool in the UK, and Kenya, Ghana and Malawi. His research interests are in eliminating viral hepatitis and reducing the burden of liver disease in southern Africa working in epidemiology, virology and implementation science. He is currently based in Malawi where he is working at the Malawi Liverpool Wellcome Programme in Blantyre.
