Bernadette Lettner is leading efforts to end hepatitis C, currently serving as the Ontario Hepatitis C Elimination Lead for Clinical Training, Guidance, and Monitoring. As a community health nurse, Bernadette accumulated 17 years of experience in front line care, focusing on health equity and hepatitis C. In her role as Ontario's Hepatitis C Elimination Lead, she is responsible for overseeing clinical training programs, providing guidance to healthcare professionals, monitoring progress and implementing strategies that enhance hepatitis C education, screening, treatment, and management, particularly within equity deserving communities. Her contributions to research have been pivotal in shaping evidence-based practices and policies. Through her leadership and advocacy, Bernadette is making significant strides toward advancing the goal of hepatitis C elimination.
