Dr. Kimberly Page, Ph.D., MPH, MS, is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine. She is trained in infectious disease epidemiology, and is a leader in research with hepatitis C virus (HCV) and HIV infections in high-risk populations. She is the PI of the Southwest Node of the NIDA Clinical Trials Network which aims to advance and expand infrastructure and research for multi-site studies of promising science-based prevention, therapies, and the treatment delivery to patients with substance use disorders. She was co-Protocol Chair of an NIH funded trial testing a prophylactic HCV vaccine in People Who Inject Drugs. She has ongoing studies of HCV infection, substance use and integrated care in rural and urban New Mexico, and is actively funded by NIH, CDC, and PCORI.
