Neil Mehta is a Transplant Hepatologist and Associate Clinical Professor at UCSF. He is the Director of the Liver Cancer Multidisciplinary Program as well as the Medical Director of the Live Donor Liver Transplantation program. His research focus is primarily on selection criteria and liver transplant outcomes for patients with HCC including with respect to down-staging, incorporation of biomarkers, and improving transplant access.
